Sneak Preview of Anthro VR 360 Project

Julie Y. Chu, Associate Professor of Anthropology, and Daria Tsoupikova (University of Illinois Chicago) will offer a sneak preview of the immersive VR project, Fulfillment: A field guide to the logistical city, as part of the ACM Hypertext conference coming to Chicago from September 15-18.

This will be part of a double feature of VR projects screened in the 360 immersive theater, CAVE2, at the Electronic Visualization Lab at UIC on Tuesday, September 16, at 6:30 p.m. (with possibly a second showing at 7:30 p.m. if there is an Overflow). 

This project is based on a multimodal research + design collaboration among faculty and students at UChicago Anthropology and the Electronic Visualization Lab (EVL) at UIC.
