Tackjin Jung is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on exploring connections between politics and magic, witchcraft, supernatural rituals in the context of capitalist, secular modern Indonesia. Tackjin holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and Philosophy, and an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Yonsei University in South Korea.
