Ram Dolom

Ram Dolom is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Chicago.  His current questions include:

  1. How does violence affect the way the state, private capital, and the customary landholder imagine and articulate their
relationship to contested land?  How does this evolving relational description stake out a claim to contested land?
  2. What kind of subject position is petitioner/plaintiff/complainant before a court of law?
  3. What instincts structure institutional global action on climate change?

He holds a BA from UCLA and a JD from YLS.
