Ram Dolom is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Chicago. His current questions include:
- How does violence affect the way the state, private capital, and the customary landholder imagine and articulate their
relationship to contested land? How does this evolving relational description stake out a claim to contested land? - What kind of subject position is petitioner/plaintiff/complainant before a court of law?
- What instincts structure institutional global action on climate change?
He holds a BA from UCLA and a JD from YLS.
