I am a joint PhD student in Anthropology and Conceptual and Historical Studies of Science (CHSS). My research is situated in the anthropology of science, technology, and medicine, and is broadly concerned with how biomedical knowledge production comes to characterize health and illness. My current project explores how the microbiome gets produced as a scientific, therapeutic, and discursive object.
