Graduating senior in the Department of Anthropology, Iris Jacobs, is a finalist for the Chicago Studies Undergraduate Research Prize. Her BA thesis is entitled “Taking the Skeletons Out of the Closet: Contested Authority and Human Remains Displays in the Anthropology Museum.” She will be presenting her BA as part of the Chicago Studies colloquium on Tuesday, May 26, from noon-2:30 p.m.
