Marshall Sahlins awarded the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Artes et des Lettres

Marshall Sahlins, Charles F. Grey Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of Anthropology and of Social Sciences in the College, has been awarded the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Artes et des Lettres. The award recognizes eminent artists and writers, and those who have contributed significantly to furthering the arts in France and throughout the world.
